The 2020 election is now in the rearview mirror, and while it was unlike any other election in memory, it was the first election for many of our students. The election provided a perfect backdrop for our students to learn about government, the electoral process, democracy and yes, voting rights for those with disabilities!
“We like to anchor instruction into moments that are relevant and important to our students, so the election is a great time to teach civics and American history,” said Brian Detlefsen, Director.
“We are proud of our students for learning about the voting process and for exercising their rights as citizens.”
