When Tommy, a Fair Lawn resident and student at The Forum School in Waldwick, first arrived at Peter's Fish Market in Midland Park as part of the school's Structured Learning Experience (SLE) program, Peter's owner Steve Sclafani recalls that he, "was very quiet." But, not anymore. "Now, he talks with us, we kid around. He's part of the crew."

The Forum School celebrates two regional ASAH Educator of the Year Award finalists, Beverly Asinofsky and Jacquelyn “Jackie” Cashin. At the statewide conference in November, Jackie was selected as ASAH’s 2019 Paraprofessional of the year.
