New this fall, the Readers’ Workshop is a balanced literacy approach that engages students in the reading process while fostering a passion for reading. The program is student-centered and empowers children to make reading choices from books that are “just right” for them.
The 2020 General Election provided a perfect backdrop for our students to learn about government, the electoral process, democracy and yes, voting rights for those with disabilities!

When students returned this fall, they found that the Life Skills Center, a stand-alone two-story house on the campus, had been gutted and fully updated.
I am proud to say that months of planning and preparation allowed us to develop safety protocol and practices that allow students to learn in the building, and that keep everyone safe.
We celebrated the achievements of our 2020 graduates under a shade tree last summer, with full pomp and circumstance.
