A Turkish “EBRU” artist, Richard Aldorassi, held a workshop at our school on February 4, 2016. “EBRU” is a marbling art form of painting on water.

Our students actively participated in the process. They got to drip, rake and swirl the colors of paint. After the colorful design was created, they helped to print the design onto silk.

Each student received a portion of the silk painting as a reminder of the process.
